Perffectus: Rendering Quality Enhancer for RPG Maker MZ

Perffectus: Rendering Quality Enhancer for RPG Maker MZ

About a thousand or so years ago, I published Effectus: Performance Enhancer for RPG Maker VX Ace. There was nothing like it back then.

Now, after almost 12 years, I'm publishing Perffectus: Rendering Quality Enhancer for RPG Maker MZ. There's nothing like it right now.

Yes, the name is a joke. It's actually supposed to be called SmartRender.

I recently came across this thread in the soon-to-be-defunct RPG Maker Web forums, and other posts on Reddit and some discord servers also asked for solutions to variations of the same problem.

You want the pixels to conserve their shape no matter what, but RPG Maker keeps deforming them?

After about five grams of caffeine and countless hours of R&D, here's the solution.

Now, if you'd excuse me, I'll sleep for about a week.
